Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Granite Gecko Systems LLC ("GGSystems", "we", "us") handles personal information across our websites and services.
This is the company-wide policy. Each Android application has its own privacy
policy describing that app's data collection specifically, because different apps
collect different things — those live at /apps/<app>/privacy/, and the per-app URL
is the one filed with Google Play.

This website
This website is a static site. It sets no tracking cookies, runs no analytics scripts, and embeds no third-party trackers. We do not build advertising profiles of visitors.
Our hosting provider processes standard server request data (IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamp) to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. We do not use that data to identify individual visitors.
When you contact us
If you email us, we receive your email address, your message, and anything you choose to include. We use it only to respond and to keep a record of the correspondence. Our email is provided by Google Workspace.
Our products
permit-intel is a subscription service with its own account system. The data it collects, why, and how long it is kept are described within the product and in the terms you accept when subscribing.
Mobile applications each have their own privacy policy describing that app's data
collection specifically, because different apps collect different things. Those
policies live at /apps/<app>/privacy/ and are the versions filed with Google Play.
Legal bases
Where the GDPR applies, we rely on: performance of a contract (providing a service you subscribed to), legitimate interests (operating and securing our services, responding to enquiries), and consent where we ask for it.
Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We share it only with service providers who process it on our behalf — hosting, email delivery, payment processing — and only as needed to run the service, or where required by law.
Retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected, or as required by law. Correspondence is kept while it remains relevant to an ongoing relationship.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, to object to or restrict processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these, email privacy@ggsystems.io. We will respond within the period required by applicable law.
If you are in the UK or EEA and believe we have not handled your information properly, you may complain to your local supervisory authority.
Children
Our services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, email privacy@ggsystems.io and we will delete it.
International transfers
We are based in the United States, and information we process may be stored or processed there. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be announced on this page with a revised effective date.
